The first rehearsal, I showed up 40 minutes early with 3 sharpened pencils and two armpits full of sweat and did my best to not look too green. I am sure it didn't work. Then, about a week into the run, during the opening, I caught a whiff of someone's perfume or hairspray, and wouldn't you know it - I was allergic. During my "frozen pose" I was coughing so hard that snot and tears were pouring down my face...I thought my chest was too small at the time, so I had Kleenex in my bra...pulled it out on my way to the step stool, wiped my face, and that also turned out to be the night Sarah (Cinderella) accidently pulled out my hair piece. I spent the period after the opening throwing up and coughing on the back steps...I was sure I was going to get fired...so, I replenished my Kleenex stock and ran back out...then Mo tripped and half broke her ankle...it was a memorable show on a multitude of levels.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
